Abstract

In this report, characteristics of traffic accidents and analyses of traffic safety countermeasures in Shiga Prefecture in recent years are described. Firstly, characteristics of geography, traffic conditions and traffic accidents in Shiga Prefecture in recently years are described based on the report which describe characteristics of traffic accidents and traffic safety countermeasures in Shiga Prefecture in 2011 by the author. Then, several analyses of traffic accidents and traffic safety countermeasures in Shiga Prefecture in recent years by the authors are introduced.
