Abstract

For non-signalized intersection, this paper analyzes moving feature and traversing feature of vehicles and pedestrian, and ascertain the acceptance gap by which pedestrian cross vehicle flow, and proposes the calculation method of average delay under different two conditions, one of which is pedestrian cross a lane once, the other one of which is pedestrian cross more the one lanes once. For signalized intersection without interruption, this paper analyzes moving feature of vehicles and pedestrian, and depicts the sketch map of pedestrian assembling and scattering, and proposes the calculation method of average delay. For signalized intersection with interruption, this paper analyzes principle of causing delay of pedestrian, and proposes calculation method of average delay.
