Abstract

In the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred in March 2011, the tsunami caused secondary damage such as oil spills and tsunami fires caused by the sliding and drifting of oil tanks installed in coastal areas. It is expected that the Nankai Trough earthquake and the tsunami caused by it will occur in the future, and such a disaster is one of the concerns even in Osaka Bay, which has many petrochemical complexes and oil tanks in the coastal area. Is. Therefore, it is considered effective to evaluate whether oil tanks, etc. slide or drift when a tsunami strikes, and whether or not oil spills occur due to this. In this paper, the tsunami fluid force exerted on structures such as oil tanks when a tsunami strikes is evaluated from an experimental and numerical standpoint. The safety standards of the Fire and Disaster Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the tank model or tank numerical model drift (slide) due to the tsunami flow. ) We decided to investigate based on criteria such as whether or not to do so.
