Abstract

In order to realize a safe and secure hydrogen energy society, it is necessary to study sufficient safety for handling hydrogen. In this review, assuming the worst scenario of a fuel cell vehicle accident, we have summarized the cases where the container safety valve PRD (Pressure Relief Device), which is a safety measure for compressed hydrogen containers, operates and when it does not operate and bursts. In particular, the experimental results and the calculation results by numerical analysis were compared, the safety distance was estimated, and the degree of influence and safety of the compressed hydrogen container of the fuel cell vehicle were described. 安全安心な水素エネルギー社会を実現するため,水素の取り扱いに十分な安全性の検討が必要である.本総説では燃料電池車事故の最悪シナリオを想定して,圧縮水素容器の安全対策である容器安全弁PRD (Pressure Relief Device)が作動する場合と作動せず破裂する場合についてまとめた.特に,実験結果と数値解析による計算結果を比較し,安全距離について推定し,燃料電池自動車の圧縮水素容器の影響度と安全性を述べた.
