Abstract

Flexible containers are used in a wide range of applications such as powder storage, transportation, and preparation, but care must be taken when handling them, as many explosions and fire disasters due to static electricity have been reported. Normally, static electricity is generated by friction between the powder and the inner wall of the flexible container, and the static electricity discharge caused by this is the ignition source of the surrounding gas / vapor or suspended dust. In this paper, we first explain the dangers hidden in flexible container-related work through analysis of past disaster cases and experimental knowledge. Next, the main points of static electricity countermeasures will be explained based on the international standard (IEC standard). In particular, he emphasizes that it is important for disaster prevention to select not only flexible containers but also inner bags to be used in combination with them. フレキシブルコンテナは,粉体の貯蔵,輸送,仕込みなど,幅広い用途で使用されているが,静電気による爆発・火災災害が多数報告されているように,その取扱いに当たっては注意が必要である.通常,静電気は粉体とフレキシブルコンテナの内壁との摩擦によって発生し,これによる静電気放電が周辺のガス・蒸気または浮遊粉じんの着火源となる.本稿では,まず,過去の災害事例の分析および実験的知見を通して,フレキシブルコンテナ関連作業に潜む危険性を解説する.次に,静電気対策の要点を,国際規格(IEC 規格)を基に解説する.特に,フレキシブルコンテナだけでなく,それと併用する内袋の選択が防災上重要であることを強調している.最後に,リスク評価に当たっての注意点を述べている.
