Abstract

The objectives of the study described are to identify and evaluate existing information relative to an improved residential street environment; determine the range, feasibility and design of techniques aimed at improving residential environments; identify and assess community preferences and acceptability of techniques designed to improve residential street environments; and develop estimates of effectiveness of techniques and develop evaluation plans for implementation of techniques.
