Abstract

The ubiquity of social media in a teenager’s daily life is no secret as 97% of teens use at least one major online platform and 45% stay online ‘almost constantly’. The largest source of video-based digital content, YouTube (www.youtube.com), is the most commonly used social media platform by teenagers.
