Abstract

A 47-year-old Japanese woman, with a medical history of schizophrenia and diabetes mellitus, was hospitalized because of disturbance of consciousness after ingesting numerous tablets in an attempted suicide. Her usual medications included metformin, vildagliptin, levomepromazine, and risperidone. An ECG taken 4 months before the current presentation was normal.
