Abstract

Even though families with disabilities at the time of disasters are more likely to be socially isolated and inconvenienced, there has been almost no detailed investigations on them. Therefore, in this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey of families with intellectual disabilities focusing on the lessons from the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake. As a result, it turned out that many families with intellectual disabilities have sustained difficulties for months based on various factors. Utilizing our findings, we compiled and distributed a pamphlet ("8 wisdoms acquired from the Kumamoto earthquake") for the people involved.

Vernacular Abstract

災害耐性が脆弱な知的障害者家庭は，災害時に数々の危難に見舞われ，困窮し，孤立無援に 陥ることが多い。しかしながら，その実態を仔細に調査した研究はほとんどおこなわれてこな かった。そこで，本研究では，2016年に起きた熊本地震で，知的障害者家庭がどのような状況 にあったのか実態調査を実施した。調査からは，数か月が経過してもなお日常を取り戻すこと ができていない家庭が数多くあることが浮き彫りとなった。支援の手が急がれるため，本研究 で は 調 査 で 得 ら れ た 知 見 を 活 用 し て ，「 熊 本 地 震 か ら 得 ら れ た 8 つ の 知 恵 」 と い う パ ン フ レ ッ ト を作成し，関係当事者に配布した。
