Abstract

In recent years,with the economic crisis,the association between suicide rates and socio-economics has aroused more attention.This review aims to summarize latest research progress through reviewing the original studies on suicide related to social economic factors during recent decade in the world.This article discusses the changes of suicide rate and the influencing factors under economic stability and economic crisis,and a model for how the crisis might affect suicide rate is preliminary presented,and research direction of economics-related suicide in China is suggested.
