Abstract

In older adults discharged from hospital, do postdischarge fall prevention interventions reduce falls?

Included studies compared fall prevention interventions with no intervention or placebo in adults ≥ 60 years of age who were discharged from hospital to the community and assessed falls within 6 months of discharge. Included interventions were delivered or initiated in hospital or in the first month after discharge.
