Abstract

This paper presents the most relevant matters regarding strains of concrete in reinforced concrete (RC) structures subjected to standard load and to high temperature at the same time, with respect to the material model given in Eurocode 1992-1-2 and to literature. Two types of aggregate were considered (siliceous and calcareous) as well as load induced thermal strains phenomenon.
