Abstract

This article examines: (i) Indonesia's laws relating to the environment and forest fires; (ii) the economic, social and environmental costs of the Indonesian forest fires in 2015; (iii) the efforts to fight the 2015 fires; (iv) the impacts of climate change on tourism; and (v) Indonesia's initiatives in response to climate change particularly in the tourism sector.
