Abstract

When the above editorial was first published online, Buenos Aires was inadvertently omitted from Figure 2. The corrected version of the figure, as it appears in this article, includes Buenos Aires.

In addition to this, the text within the paragraph Cycling boom in large cities of Europe and the Americas has been changed from:

"The most rapid growth among the 19 cities was in Sevilla (Spain), Bogota (Colombia) and Portland (Oregon)"

To:

"The most rapid growth among the 19 cities was in Sevilla (Spain), Bogota (Colombia), Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Portland (Oregon)".
