Abstract

For the revision of the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD)-10 into the ICD-11, the Liaison Committee of Psychiatric Disease Names of Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology concluded that "disorder" should be translated differently from the ICD-10. According to this decision, related Japanese societies have started discussion on how to translate each disease name.
