Abstract

There has been a significant shift over the last couple of years in how and how much we are talking about domestic and family violence (DFV). The growing profile of survivor advocates such as Rosie Batty, mainstream media interest, increased reporting to police and political interest have all contributed to a much better understanding of the prevalence, nature and impacts of DVF in Australia in recent years.
