Abstract

Long highway immersed tunnel ventilation systems with strict design standards, large energy consumption, high security requirements and other unique characteristics. Key factors of influencing energy consumption and environmental protection tunnel ventilation system were systematic analysis and take appropriate improvement measures. Analysis fan efficiency, the port diffusion path of polluting gases using CFD software (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and take corresponding measures for improvement. According to the relationship among the vehicle speed, pollution emissions and the fan operation, developed intelligent immersed tunnel ventilation simulation system combining inverter technology and achieve the purpose of fan operation according to actual needs. For operational safety, using performance-based design methodology, the integrated use of CFD software and STEPS software (simulation of transient evacuation and pedestrian movements) make ventilation system meet the requirements of evacuation safety. This article give s the way how to design long highway immersed tunnel ventilation systems with the design approach of quantitative analysis to achieve energy-saving, environmental protection and safety.
