Abstract

Data collected from vehicle Event Data Recorders (EDRs) has been accepted by courts as evidence to be presented at trial. The validity of the data has been established by testing which has been documented in scientific, peer-reviewed literature. Technical literature and case studies are presented to demonstrate the accuracy and validity of the data, along with examples to describe the presentation of some critical information to respond to challenges.
