Abstract

Stressful conditions are created when parents with children remarry. The idealized family is still the intact nuclear family, and culturally we have not come to terms with the reality of merged families. Using the concept of "family as a social system" techniques are suggested in this article that help identify the commonality of family concerns and articulate personal issues
