Abstract

The following regulations were drafted by the writer but were submitted to criticism of numerous local members of A.A.A.P. and to extended and lively discussion at the Annual Meeting of the Ohio Association for Applied Psychology. Their final form is therefore the work of many hands. The author states that psychology is so important that its application by anyone not thoroughly trained is dangerous. In the not too long run the only safe rule is one which makes the doctor's degree a minimal requirement for practice. The author states seven regulations that he feels are necessary for psychologists to have. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2012 APA, all rights reserved)
