Abstract

The trafficking with women is a modern form of a slavery that exists in most of the countries in the world. The trafficking with women is a multifaceted problem and has various forms, such as: work in bad conditions, household slavery and sexual exploitation. The trafficking of women and their sexual exploitation, in basic is more dangerous than the human trafficking for working in bad condition as house slaves, because the victims are exposed to serious health risks, including HIV/AIDS. It can be said that it is difficult to discover how many women worldwide have been subjected to trafficking abroad since the business of trafficking is mysterious; traffickers are treating the victims, and there is no official statistics that is available. In this paper, the focus is on the description of the important forms and ways of recruiting women on European soil. They should make a modest contribution in building new strategies to combat this international organized crime. One of such strategies (i.e. international documents) is the Convention of the European Council for prevention of the violence against women and domestic violence.
