Abstract

The article focuses on increasing activism of celebrities on the issues like human and child trafficking with reference to actors Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher (DNA) Foundation. It discusses the role of celebrities as advocates against crime and their influence on the legislative bodies. It suggests that social media has provided a platform for celebrities to come up as activist. It also provides detail about campaigns of the foundation Real Men and Customs and Border Protection.
