Abstract

The article focuses on the failure of the anti-trafficking regime of the U.S. in addressing American Indian women and girls' sex trafficking. It explores the qualities of the American Indian women's sex trafficking, as well as the anti-trafficking structure developed by the state and federal governments since 2000. It also discusses ways on how to control the marginalization of the domestic victims in the government anti-trafficking efforts' implementation. It suggests the importance of improving the efforts for anti-trafficking in meeting domestic and American Indian victims' needs.
