Abstract

The characterization of partner-violent behavior is potentially relevant in terms of anticipating psychiatric diagnoses, treatment needs, and outcomes. One unaddressed issue is the relationship, if any, between externalized aggressive behavior (ie, partner violence) and self-directed physical aggression.
