Abstract

This perspective highlights the complex issues that remain in understanding sports concussions. Clearly, elements of systematic terminology, data tracking, protective equipment, propagation of physical forces, individual risk factors, and biomarkers are all key in developing a rational approach to understanding and ultimately treating sports TBI.
