Abstract

The presentation gives an outline of the work that has been done in Denmark within the last years regarding the so-called suicide-letters on websites. The National Association for the Bereaved after Suicide have together with representatives from NGO's and professionals contacted the government, and one of the parties in parliament made a proposal that would criminalize suicide instructions on the internet. All parties were positive, but a task force about legal matters did not recommend criminalization.
