Abstract

A synthetic evolutionary theory enabling to explain, predict and prevent the death by suicide of individuals of all human populations of the world is presented. I prospose that different alleles found in the gametes of individuals of human populations can lead individuals to engender descendants of the different sexes who will commit suicide at different ages during different seasons following a birth in different seasons. The theory is supported by the seasonality of birth of individuals of populations who have committed suicide and by the seasonality of suicidal behaviours of individuals of populations who have committed suicide. The theory should enable us to explain, predict and prevent the death by suicide of millions of individuals of populations of the world, individuals of African, Asian, European, Russian, American and Polynesian populations.
