Abstract

Every year in France, 201,000 women are victims of physical and/or sexual violence perpetrated by their partner or ex-partner. At the same time, 83,000 are victims of rape or attempted rape, by a known or unknown aggressor. The impact of this violence on the health and overall quality of life of female victims is considerable. Faced with the extent of these violences, initiatives are being set up, instigated by the government and numerous players in the field.
