Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine if health locus of control and social network are predictors of adolescent risk-taking.

FINDINGS demonstrated that 12% of the variance in risk-taking could be explained by 2 of the 3 dimensions of health locus of control (internal and powerful other health locus of control subscales), and social network.
