Abstract

The editor comments on the role of organized swim lessons in learning to swim and their importance in preventing drowning. He explained the degree to which these lessons are responsible for teaching swimming skills and discusses swimming lessons and swimming skill with regard to reduced risk and lower rates of drowning.
