Abstract

This Act amends Section 19 of the Manitoba Child and Family Services Act to insert detailed provisions relating to the investigation of child abuse. It requires a child abuse committee to be established in each investigating agency, requires records surrounding cases of child abuse to be maintained in a registry, and sets forth procedures and safeguards with respect to entry of records in the registry.
