Abstract

There is a simple and specific way to carry out the modified ADH-method for the quantitative determination of ethyl alcohol with the EPOS analyser 5060 shown here. Based on the application of ready-to-use solutions it provides the advantage of a reduced time span by reducing the sample preparation time and by a very good correlation of the results with the concentration values as obtained by gas chromatography. Slightly higher expenses for ready-to-use solutions are counterbalanced by considerable improvements in precision and reliability of the method.
