Abstract

The author discusses the judicial presuppositions of inhibition of any enjoyment of alcohol during the working time, in particular concerning workmen employed as drivers. The prohibition of brandy, contained in the directions concerning prevention of accidents of several trade unions, is considered insufficient. The possibility to achieve an additional inhibition, i.e., an absolute or limitedly total alcohol prohibition at the place of work is answered in the affirmative. One way is seen in an individual contract, or, if there is existing a working management, in an agreement with this institution. The text of such an agreement is published. Offences against any inhibition effectively arranged might empower the employer, according to concrete circumstances, to give notice of the working contract.
