Abstract

Ethanol- and congener content of 226 wines and similar beverages were determined gas-chromatographically. Although beverages differ, wine having in addition differences of cultivar and origin, all beverages investigated can be placed in a common overall category characterized by congener concentrations differing from all distilled alcoholic beverages described in a former publication.
