Abstract

An unusual case of either a homicide, elaborate suicide or accidental death is presented. The case involves multiple drugs with fatal concentrations of both morphine and flurazepam. Possible scenarios are discussed relating to the order and mode of ingestion of these two drugs. Problems relating to the interpretation of the postmortem drug results are also discussed.
