Abstract

According to the results of RABL et al. 1995 and JACHAU et al. 2006 it was to determine whether the ethanol-containing denture adhesive cream fittydent would lead to a false positive test result, produced with the breath alcohol measurement device Alcotest 7110 Evidential (Dräger Safety AG Lübeck), even though the test was worked out according to the DIN VDE 0405 prescribed conditions for the production of a valid measurement result. A total of 16 volunteers developed a systemic alcoholisation by alcohol consumption. In the elimination period several simultaneous determinations of alcohol in breath and blood without and then with permanent insertion of a with dental adhesive cream fittydent loaded Carnival tippedteeth in mouth were performed. Over the entire subsequent test period of 2 hours at Dräger Alcotest 7110 Evidential error messages such as “residual mouth alcohol” or “difference of individual values” were produced, but also valid results were obtained even in spite of the release of ethanol out of the denture adhesive cream, even more than 90 min after insertion into the oral cavity and also with false to high results up to 0.17 mg/L, the ratio of BAC/BrAC in this case was 1261:1, respectively.

Vernacular Abstract

Unter Berücksichtigung der Ergebnisse von RABL et al. 1995 und JACHAU et al. 2006 wurde überprüft, ob die ethanolhaltige Zahnprothesenhaftcreme fittydent zu einem falsch positiven Messergebnis, erzeugt mit dem Atemalkoholmessgerät Alcotest 7110 Evidential (Hersteller: Dräger Safety AG Lübeck), führt, auch wenn die nach der DIN-Norm VDE 0405 vorgeschriebenen Bedingungen für die Erzeugung eines gültigen Messergebnisses für eine Ahndung nach § 24a StVG eingehalten wurden. Insgesamt 16 Probanden bauten dazu eine Alkoholisierung auf und nahmen nach Erreichen der Eliminationsphase und simultaner Alkoholbestimmung in der Ausatemluft und im Blut mit der Zahnhaftcreme fittydent bestückte Faschingsgebisse in den Mund. Über die gesamte weitere Versuchsdauer von 2 h waren am Dräger Alcotest 7110 Evidential Fehlermeldungen wie „Mundrestalkohol“ oder „Differenz der Einzelwerte“ zu erzeugen, aber auch gültige Messergebnisse, die durch die Ethanolabgabe aus der Zahnhaftcreme selbst noch mehr als 90 min nach Einlage in die Mundhöhle um bis zu 0,17 mg/L überhöht waren bzw. der QBAK/AAK in diesem Fall bei 1261 lag.
