Abstract

In order to make whistle-blowing as a deterrent to organizational wrong-doings, it is necessary to build an environment where proper whistle-blowing can be carried out easily. In this study, we investigated the influences of the individual characteristics and the organization characteristics both on the whistle-blowing action and attitudes to whistle blowing and whistle blowers. Based on the results of the survey, the possibilities of perspectives of building effective whistle-blowing systems and education programs are discussed from the social psychological point of view.
