Abstract

This paper proposes a new method for detecting from a proceeding the points on issue of the discussion and strong opinions of the members. The basic idea is that almost the same remarks of a person in completely different situations represent his or her strong opinions. By detecting such remarks using a computer, we can efficiently learn what the members think and also what are the points on issue.
