Abstract

Emergency shelters and evacuation roads are extremely important to ensure the victims' life safety and reducing property loss when disasters happened. Problems of The Emergency shelters' planning and the evaluation of evacuation road are related to dealing with complex spatial data and analysis, should parameterize many factors like the urban space, city facilities, roads network situation and then establish an appropriate model to solve it. In the paper, we use the microscope computer simulation method to study this problem. Select the main factors of the shelter and evacuation road to be parameterized,. The results show that simulation experiment can help to establish a direct link between the evacuation activities and the urban environment, solve the problem of the responsibility space regionalization of shelters in the block level and evaluate the evacuation road visually through the pedestrian activities in the process and results data collection.
