Abstract

Rock burst is one of the worst natural disasters in coal mining. Drilling cuttings method is an effective way of identifying rock burst danger degree by testing discharged pulverized coal quantity, its changing laws and related dynamic effect through drilling small diameter drill in coal seam. Based on drilling effect principle, relationship between drilling powder amount and stress, rock burst risk index was determined. Through drilling test in the coal face gateway along the tendency of coal seam and extracting the pulverized coal, coal weight of unit hole deep, pulverized coal volume and large particles pulverized coal weight were tested. Following this, critical pulverized coal quantity of coal seam mining rock burst danger was ensured and rock burst danger degree of the coal seam mining was evaluated.
