Abstract

A study that permitted 32 sets of parents to use several different models of child restraint systems showed that most parents can choose one most satisfactory to them only after having used several models. That finding and others discussed here imply that present methods of retailing child restraint systems are not conducive to ensuring consumer satisfaction with and proper use of those products.
