Abstract

This brief article discusses bottom-up policy transference, using the recent example of a neighbourhood watch pilot project in the Republic of Cyprus. Here, it is argued, British 'ex-pats' have been instrumental in persuading the police to cooperate in the formation of an initiative previously unknown to the island.
