Abstract

The Trauma Committee of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons has developed its position paper, which includes the recommendations for injury prevention. The document highlights the need for increased public and industrial awareness, potential modifications of the vehicle design, the recommendation-specific helmet use and the application of age and speed limits.
