Abstract

The article discusses the main external causes of mortality of population of body-abled age in age gender perspective. The comparative analysis of male and female mortality related to suicide, accidental alcohol intoxication and traffic accident with lethal outcome is presented. It is noted that mortality due to external causes in general and in particular cases in all age groups is significantly higher among males as compared with females. The original interpretation of this fact based on scientific publications is presented.
