Abstract

This paper describes a Post-Occupancy Evaluation project that assessed habit-ability and other human performance aspects of three rural fire stations. This was a commercial project undertaken for the architectural firm responsible for the design and construction management of the facilities. The 'fast-track' methodology and exceptionally informative results demonstrate that such projects are effective and cost-beneficial in competitive professional practice.
