Abstract

The intrahospital care and surveillance of patients at suicide risk on an open psychiatric ward requires real clinical reflection. Based on the daily work of a multidisciplinary team, it is suggested that, ratherthan relying on a standard form of care for suicidal patients, caregivers are provided with tools in order to give these patients the best type of care.
