Abstract

The article analyzes road traffic accidents caused by the human factor, which accounted for 29% of all traffic accidents during a three-year period. They are analyzed with regard to the influence of alcohol, fatigue, illness, insufficient knowledge or experience and other psycho-physical conditions including different types of errors. Among all psycho-physical conditions, alcohol plays the most important role. The largest number of accidents are caused by drivers aged 20 to 30 years.
