Abstract

The increasing trend of suicides amongst the US soldiers in Iraq is discussed. The number of suicides is expected to increase with the troops finding themselves in a dangerous place, with no firm date of returning home. They are seeing themselves surrounded in hostile and unfriendly conditions. These soldiers do not have anything or anybody to speak, and they are getting demoralized with sleepless nights, and restless days.
