Abstract
|
Objective
We shall consider a group of individuals standing in a situation of great vulnerability. Being both a woman and an addict means a double risk regarding domestic violence.
Material and method
We shall carry out a bibliographical revision and analyze, from a Drug Addiction Care Centre, the change in the profile of women who are both drug-addicts and domestic violence victims, as well as their aetiopathogenics.
Results
A model for the treatment of the addict and battered woman is proposed, with the settings for an action, the evaluation of their needs, and some specific aspects of their treatment from a psychological point of view.
Conclusions
We will insist on existing lacks of coordination and care in the programmes that are applied to this population and will propose new ways for the improvement of the treatment of this group. |

Objetivo
Nos planteamos reflexionar sobre un colectivo que se encuentra en una situación de gran vulnerabilidad. El ser mujer y adicta supone un doble factor de riesgo para la violencia doméstica.
Material y métodos
Se realiza una revisión bibliográfica y se analiza desde un centro de atención a las drogodependencias el cambio en el perfil de las mujeres drogodependientes y víctimas de la violencia de género, así como su etiopatogenia.
Resultados
Se propone un modelo para el tratamiento de la mujer adicta y maltratada en el que se aborda el marco de intervención, la evaluación de sus necesidades y aspectos concretos del tratamiento desde una perspectiva psicológica.
Conclusiones
Incidimos en los déficit que existen en la coordinación y atención de los programas que atienden a esta población y se proponen líneas de actuación que mejoren el tratamiento de este colectivo. |
