Abstract

This review examines the recent history of efforts at the federal level to disseminate child abuse and neglect information and describes current challenges to these endeavors. Two dissemination models are defined as are the problems associated with the adaptation of those models. Finally, general principles for transmitting information and the processes involved in such transmission are reviewed.
